What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a funnel marketing strategy and why do online marketers need to create one?

It is a marketing strategy to encourage potential customers to buy products from your company. It's a selling process where a visitor comes to your website to find information that could help solve the issue. You can build a relationship by using specific tools.

This will help you know the wants and needs of each visitor. This will help you give the most accurate information to all your visitors. If you are able to gain trust from a visitor, they are more likely to purchase your products. The visitor becomes a customer.

Many customers eventually become extremely loyal customers and will purchase almost anything that your site sells. A marketing funnel is comprised of the various stages of the sales process that will convert a regular visitor to your website into a loyal customer who wants to buy everything that you can throw at them.

This is the main goal of any internet marketer. This can be achieved easily with a properly designed funnel.

Your marketing efforts are grabbing people's attention, and drawing them into your funnel. When they complete the PERSONAL questionnaire, they are automatically enrolled in the funnel. Because they are not going to sign up for your lead capture page for business I'm using the term "personal". They want to be a leader and not a business.

The page for lead capture is the entrance into the funnel. When they click the "Sign Up Now" or "Enter Here" button, they enter a whole new concept of network marketing.

The best aspect is that they have qualified themselves to do it. It's their choice. They don't have to buy you as a leader or mentor. You could also demonstrate to them how they can get more leads and money into their business.

This is how an advertising funnel functions.

At the "front-end" you can offer an offer that is free to draw and qualify people who may have an interest to purchase your products later on in the sales funnel. In order to get the product for free, users must sign up (also known as opt-in) and provide their email address as well as their name which in turn are added to your email list.

Now, you can add these contacts to your email list so that you can send them any other offers that are relevant to them.

Right after sign-up to receive the free offer, they will be taken to a page with a low price offer or what's called a trip wire offer. This is where they'll be taken to the "backend" of your funnel.

If the person buys the lowest-priced deal and is accepted, they are directed to a comparable offer at a more expensive price (commonly known as an Upsell). Anyone who purchases the lower priced offer will be directed to the next comparable product at an even more expensive price. The list could go on and on...
