A handful of lawmakers from each side of the aisle have requested that Massachusetts marijuana regulators scrap the proposed supply license that might let operators purchase marijuana wholesale from cultivators and producers, retailer it in a warehouse and ship it to shoppers at dwelling.

The Hashish Management Fee is anticipated Tuesday morning to think about suggestions and maintain a closing dialogue about its draft supply coverage, which might create two distinct supply license varieties: a “restricted supply license” that might permit an operator to cost a price to make deliveries from CCC-licensed retailers and dispensaries, and a “wholesale supply license.”

In a letter final week, 19 state lawmakers informed the CCC that they “imagine that the wholesale supply license class proposed within the draft rules was not contemplated, nor supported, by the enabling laws” and requested the fee to rethink its plan to take a closing vote on the rules subsequent week.
